Recently, Snopes took it upon themselves to question the journalistic integrity of NPC Daily. They claimed that we falsified the story regarding the millennial who bravely sold his both of testicles to raise money for the Bernie Sanders 2020 campaign. Questioning the integrity of a liberal news platform by itself is enough to ruin ones credibility. The verdict?
NPC Daily employs top of the line journalists, many of which have master’s degrees in gender studies, women’s studies, English literature, romantic comedies and botanical psychology. We have top of the line cutting edge interviewers like Neville Croft among others who gather first-hand information from high profile individuals in the political and cultural sphere.
Additionally, Snopes seems to completely disregard the fact that facts can and do care about your feelings. NPC Daily had to school Ben Shapiro on this misconception and if Snopes can’t grasp this simple concept, that puts them in the same boat. They did, so here we are. Finally, it’s important to keep in mind that it’s more important to be morally right than factually accurate anyway.
As for the NPC Daily article they attacked, they should be ashamed of themselves. Dismissing this charitable act by Jared Michelle who so bravely sold his testicles for the Bernie 2020 campaign by calling it “false” does nothing but minimize his efforts. We were able to speak with Jared Michelle once more about his noball sacrifice since the incident.
I sold my testicles. There’s no coming back from that. The money I received by doing so has already long been donated to the Bernie campaign. If I had more testicles, I’d sell those too. That’s why I’ve talked four of my friends to do the same – and they’ll get their friends to do the same.
- Jared Michelle, 28, NYU
So brave. So stunning. So real. After our interview with Jared Michelle, he has agreed to be a writer for NPC Daily. He wants to share his efforts and ways he’s contributing to the Bernie Sanders 2020 campaign in hopes that others will follow in suit. We look forward to sharing his work.
As for Snopes, we can categorically label their entire site as FALSE. Why? Because to question the journalistic integrity of a liberal and progressive platform created solely to shine a light on the ill will of the Trump administration and conservative ideology, means to side with racists and bigoted Trump supporters themselves. If that’s where you want to get your “facts” from, that’s up to you. Our readers? They read exactly what they want to read from the echo chamber we provide for them – and a platform of journalistic integrity simply can’t get any more reliable than that.
