There have been horrible things that have happened throughout the history of peoplekind. There were savage bloody wars between peaceful Native Americans and evil white men. There was the holocaust. There was 9/11. There was the unnecessary nuclear attack on Nagasaki and Hiroshima during WWII. There were human sacrifices. Mass genocides, mass shootings, the systemic slaughter of African Americans by racist white police officers at the behest of the GOP and conservative values.
But nothing holds a candle to the worst event in human history – the day where Donald Trump led the violent insurrection on the US capitol on January 6th, 2021.
If there’s one thing we know from history all the way up to the end of 2020, it’s that liberals, Antifa, Black Lives Matter and anyone who marches in solidarity with progressive values are peaceful, non-violent, and wouldn’t hurt a soul.
Conservatives, on the other hand, are generally violent and racist at heart. We know this because we know this. This shouldn’t be questioned. For this reason and this reason alone, the conservative attack on the US capitol was, by definition, the worst thing that has ever happened in humxn history.
It was a genocide. Everything was on fire. Thousands died. Sort of. At least thousands died in our hearts and minds. The only way to prevent another January 6th from happening is to raise taxes, mandate abortions in elementary schools, fight climate change by regulating plastic straws, and allowing grown naked individuals who identify as the gender opposite in which they were born into women’s locker rooms. Anything outside of that is simply begging for another insurrection.
